About this experience
Explore Bali's central mountainous area in a classic Volkswagen jeep on a day trip to Mount Batur. Begin with a scenic drive through rice terraces and lush vegetation, reaching the rim of a vast caldera at Penelokan. Continue the journey into the old crater to witness huge lava flows that cover the vegetation. From here, climb up a lava dune to see views of the mountain and black lava before heading to the hot springs for relaxation.
