About this experience
Rottnest Island, off the coast of Western Australia, is an A-class reserve that was once an Aboriginal penal settlement and World War II military base. This 90-minute scenic bus tour will take you around its iconic locations as you learn about the island's unique flora, fauna, history, and culture. Make one stop at Cape Vlamingh, also known as the West End, to take a short walk and soak up the views, before continuing along the northern coastline passing the famous salt lakes.
