Montserrat was and remains today a pilgrimage site. Experience Montserrat from a vantage point as you journey over the Llobregat River and Valley on the Montserrat Cable Car. Get amazing, panoramic views of the Catalan countryside as you head up the mountain and right up to Montserrat Monastery. Opened to the public in 1930, the cable car is also a living heritage of the region, since the machinery is, in large, part original.
