Visa requirements and immigration process:
- Guests requiring a 30-day visa on arrival can complete their payment through the system during the QR code scanning process. After payment, they can proceed to use the auto gate, just like other travellers, upon arrival at Batam Center Terminal.
- Guests requiring a special short-term visa (seven days) must proceed to the manual counter to complete their application.
- Guests who are Singapore permanent residents and require a visa on arrival must use the traditional immigration process and cannot use the auto gate.
- Guests who have successfully obtained a physical visa do not need to scan a QR code. They can directly use the auto gate upon arrival, as their information is already recorded in the system.
- All visitors are required to complete the Indonesia Arrival Card on this website: https://allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id/
- Please do so at least 3 days before departure to ensure a smoother immigration process at the ferry terminal and to minimise waiting time upon arrival.
- Alternatively, the Indonesia Arrival Card could be accessed by downloading the "All Indonesia" app via the App Store or Google Play Store
